Your clinician will give you a call to start the consultation. Please allow a few minutes for them to call. You don’t need to be in the app to receive the call.
If you have the eMed app, make sure notifications are turned on so you get reminders before your appointment.
If the call doesn’t come through after a few minutes, check our guide on what to do if your appointment is late.
You’ll receive an incoming video call from your clinician. Ensure your device is unlocked so you can view the video and your clinician can see you. If the connection is poor, they’ll give you a call on your registered phone number.
You’ll receive a phone call from an 0330 number. To easily recognise the call, add eMed to your contacts after booking the appointment, so "eMed" appears as the caller ID.
